Robots are already capable of making drinks and meals. Teaching them to cook like a real chef takes work though. Zippy is a robotic chef, pre-trained on 5M+ multi-modal recipes, that can learn new recipes from a single demonstration. It can prepare Michelin-quality dishes.

Other robots have limited menus. This one can make Italian, Indian, Mexican, and other types of delicious meals. It can learn the recipes it learns via demonstration in new environments. According to the makers, this robot is available for $12 an hour. It allows commercial kitchens to scale up with peace of mind.
