Meet Wristify from Embr Labs: a wearable device that cools you or heats you up. The team behind it is using thermoelectric material to rapidly heat or cool your skin. It glows blue when cooling you and a warm orange while heating you up. Rapid heating/cooling your skin allows your brain to perceive it with a much stronger effect. The developers are planning to use an Intel Edison to learn your preferences through different sensors on the bracelet and your skin.
Wristify is not your average wearable but can help you stay comfortable no matter where you are. It is environment-friendly too. Team Wristify will be presenting their prototype for the Intel Make It Wearable Challenge Finale on November 3, 2014 in San Francisco. We can only wish them good luck.
