This Intel AI Driven Motorized Wheelchair Can Be Controlled with Facial Expressions

Here is a motorized wheelchair that can be controlled using simple facial expressions thanks to AI technologies from Intel. The Wheelie 7 kit allows users to pick from 10 facial expressions to control their wheelchair. It uses a 3D Intel RealSense Depth Camera SR300 to capture data. Intel’s distribution of OpenVINO Toolkit is used to accelerate facial recognition.
