TOZO offers a range of affordable smartwatches with features comparable to much more expensive models from other brands. We had the chance to test the S3 and S5 models in the past few months and found them to be very user-friendly. The TOZO S6 is a more advanced model with a bright 1.85-inch AMOLED display and animated watch faces. The good folks behind it were kind enough to send us one to test. Let’s see what was included:
Our TOZO S6 came with a similar package to the other 2 models we tested last year. It comes with the watchband, magnetic USB charger, the watch, and a manual. Attaching the bands is very straightforward: you will just have to press and push until you hear a click on each side. Unlike the S3 model, this one has an extra button that gives you quick access to workouts. To activate the watch, you need to download the TOZO Health app.
Once you have downloaded the app and gone through all the updates, you will be able to change your watch face. This model has dynamic watch faces that are not only nice to look at but also animated. You can also choose from simple, business-style, colorful, and other watch face styles through the Dial Center.
The companion app lets you change various settings, including brightness, notifications, mode, and wake gesture. You can also activate power saving and do not disturb modes from your phone. More importantly, you can select which sports modes appear on your watch. There are 10 activities you can enable on this watch, including outdoor/indoor cycling/running, basketball, soccer, and badminton.
This watch has a world clock function, allowing you to add multiple cities and check their time with a tap. You can use your phone to find your watch and vice versa. There is even a flashlight feature just like the previous models we have covered.
The TOZO S6 can track your heart rate, stress, sleep, and blood oxygen. It can also help you with breathing exercises. It uses visual and haptic feedback to guide you to inhale and exhale to get your breathing under control. Just like other models, you can use this wearable to control your music on your phone or even answer/end calls.
On the main screen, you can access your notifications with a swipe down and settings with a swipe up. From there, you can change brightness, screen-off time, wake gesture settings, and sound/vibration levels. On the same page, you can activate the low battery mode and suspend notifications.
For workouts, you can set a goal based on calories, distance, and time. It is also possible to go with an open goal to exercise however long and hard you want. The S6 gives you quick access to a stopwatch, timer, and alarms. We were able to set up 5 alarms but if you need more, your old ones will be replaced.
Overall, we found the S6 to be a nice upgrade over the previous versions. We didn’t have any issues pairing it with our phone. This model is IP68 waterproof, so you can take a shower with it. Its dynamic faces are a nice touch. I wore this watch for a week and didn’t have to charge it. Overall, if you are looking for a gorgeous, affordable smartwatch with stress, sleep, and workout tracking, you should give this model a serious look.
