Smartwatches have come a long way over the past few years. While there are many fancy, expensive models around, you don’t necessarily need those to track your daily activity and stay connected. We already had the chance to test the TOZO S3, which is an affordable smartwatch that doubles as a Bluetooth fitness tracker. The TOZO S5 is even more stylish. It has a round face and supports over 100 workout modes. The good people behind it were kind enough to send us one to review. Let’s see what was included:

Gaming content, Boosts, & Video subscriptions: TwitchPrime for Gamers, Amazon Video

Our TOZO S5 AcuFit GT shipped with a magnetic charger, watch, and bands. Just like the S3, the S5 can be set up in seconds. You simply have to download the TOZO Wear app and go through a couple of steps. You have the option to change your watch face with a tap and hold. On your tablet or smartphone, you will be able to find a whole lot more stylish designs.

S5 vs. Apple Watch heart rate readings

The S5 is a fully-functional activity tracker with support for over 100 activities. We tested its heart rate sensor against the Apple Watch and S3 and got very similar readings. This watch is IP68 rated, so you won’t have to worry about the rain or sweaty workouts. It provides activity, sleep, heart rate, and blood oxygen readings, all accessible with just a few swipes.

You can use your smartphone or this watch to make changes to its various features. For example, you can choose how long you want the display to stay on. It is also possible to disable the auto-wake function. After wearing and testing the S5 for five days, it still had plenty of battery life remaining. Your results may vary if you enable/disable certain functions.

You can use your S5 to locate your phone and vice versa. Additionally, it includes a convenient flashlight feature for emergencies or low-light conditions. It includes a bunch of sports modes but you can add more through your phone or watch. The device can also control your music and phone calls. It combines with your phone to help you keep up with messages, emails, and social media updates.

The TOZO S5 features Function and Sport buttons. The first button can turn the device on/off, wake it, and give you access to the menu list from the main watch face. From there, you can access exercises, records, heart rate, blood oxygen, activity, sleep, call history, and other features. The Sport button gives you quick access to exercise. With a swipe down, you gain access to brightness, ring, and other settings. From there, you can toggle settings such as Do Not Disturb and Low Battery Mode.

Overall, we found the TOZO S5 to be a nice upgrade over the S3, which we tested a few months ago. The round display is gorgeous and even more stylish than the previous models. You also get plenty of elegant watch faces to choose from. The battery life is quite long, so you don’t have to worry about charging your device every couple of days like a few more expensive models. At the same time, you can use your S5 to track your exercises, take calls, control your music, or just as your wearable alarm clock. If you are looking for a stylish smartwatch that doesn’t break the bank, you should give this model a look.
