Take tado Cooling for instance. It is a smart unit that connects to your exiting air conditioner and lets you control it form your phone. It can turn your AC off when you are away or pre-cool your home before you get back.
tado Cooling offers indoor presence detection and single room control. It controls your AC unit via infrared and connects to your phone via your WiFi network. It has a humidity sensor too! tado Cooling takes advantage of Bluetooth and iBeacon to make your existing AC system smarter.
