StockBot: Autonomous Robot For Taking Inventory

Robots are going to do many things for us in the future. Many of us will have one or more of them at home. Many businesses are already using robots to operate more efficiently. Take the StockBot for instance: it is an autonomous robot for taking inventory. It relies on RFID technology to get the job done. It navigates through corridors with its mobile base and uses cameras, sensors, and lasers to avoid obstacles and complete its task.
