We see interesting concept vehicles all the time. Many of them look like regular cars but have fancier designs and more advanced features. Spherical Mobility is a hamster wheel inspired vehicle with metal rails on each side that enable the sphere to rotate and move forward. There is a joystick inside that allows control of the sphere. Making this sphere suitable for a human was a channel on its own. For this demonstration, autonomous driving was used. Not surprisingly, this design is very impractical. There is a reason our vehicles today don’t look anything like this.
