Smart dresses are on their way. We see a few new ones every few months or so. This particular dress happens to light up in response to loud sounds. Ambient sound is picked up using a microphone. If things get loud enough, the dress will glow in blue (electroluminescent wire in the dress illuminates). Wearer can manually change the threshold required for that action. The wearer can remove all electronics and wiring to wash the dress. We are surely going to see even more sophisticated smart dresses in the future, but this is creative.
