This transparent lens eyewear connects with your smartphone and shows text, symbols, and images. The device features a CMOS image sensor, accelerometer, Gyroscope, electronic compass, brightness sensor, and microphone. It uses your phone’s GPS to provide you with more relevant information.
The SmartEyeglass offers transparency of 85% and thickness of just 3.0 mm, so it does not obstruct your vision. You get brightness of up to 1,000 cd/m2. The companion SDK will enable developers to bring their augmented reality ideas to life. You will need a device that runs Android 4.3 or later to get the most out of your glasses. Here are the specs:
