Sonim XP Pro Thermal Rugged Smartphone with FLIR Lepton

Plenty of cool gadgets were showcased at MWC 2025. The Sonim XP Pro Thermal is a new rugged smartphone powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor that is ready for rough environments. It comes with the FLIR Lepton 3.5 thermal imaging and a 50MP camera. It pairs with the Sonim Iris app to let you detect heat sources and identify potential issues.

This phone has large programmable push to talk and SOS buttons. You can use this to detect pests, identify sources of heat loss, monitor crops, and detect leak spots. The above video shows what this rugged smartphone has to offer.
