In the past few months, we have covered plenty of flying cars and personal flying machines. Snowstorm happens to be another personal flying machine capable of lifting a single person up to 70kg for about 5 minutes. It has motors, propellers, and inflated landing gear with a hexagonal frame. This electric-powered aircraft is capable of vertical take-off and landing.
A team of eight engineering students from the National University of Singapore is behind this project. Aside from building the frame, the team also worked on an electronic control and stabilization system, a pilot safety system, and an electric energy management system for this flying machine. You will have to wait a while before this idea is commercialized. More information is available here.
