There are plenty of interesting smart wearable devices around for runners and cyclists. We haven’t seen too many smart wearables for skiing. Team Snowcookie aims to change that. These guys are working on a smart wearable device that provides users with guidance to improve their skills and keep them out of trouble. You get actionable guidance to gain more control over your ski and stay safe. More advanced users get skiing telemetry report on your iPhone to analyze their performance.
Snowcookies have a bunch of sensors to measure your speed, acceleration, and other metrics. It makes you a better, safer, and more connecter skier. The team will be presenting their prototype for the Intel Make It Wearable Challenge Finale on November 3, 2014 in San Francisco.
