I don’t know about you but I always end up putting my foot on LEGO pieces and sharp things when walking in complete darkness. That’s why having a decent night light around is useful. The SnapRays Guidelight is a cool product that replaces plug-in night lights. You can install it within minutes and don’t have to deal with wires or batteries to pull it off. It looks like a standard outlet cover plate and replaces one. It does have light emitting diodes (LEDs) to provide illumination in the dark.

The SnapRays Guidelight has a light sensor that automatically turns the LEDs on in the dark and off during the day. It costs only a few cents a year to use. It is great for children and adults. The project is now on Kickstarter.
