Snake Bot Handling Challenging Slopes

Scientists are always learning new things from nature. Studying animals, plants, and our planet has helped us improve our technologies in the various ways. That’s exactly how scientists at Georgia Tech have managed to improve snake bots to make them capable of handing tough slopes. By looking at how rattlesnakes wriggle on sandy inclines, scientists have learned how to improve existing robotic snakes. This will allow robots to get ready to explore Earth’s more uneven surfaces. Now that’s exciting.
