In the past few months, we have covered many gadgets you can pick up to make your home smarter. SmartyPans is designed to make your kitchen smarter. It is a smart cooking pan that takes the guesswork out of the cooking process and counts calories in real time. It monitors weight of ingredients, internal temperature, and humidity and sends the information to a recipe app. The app uses that information to provide you with simple instructions most of us should be able to understand.
The recipe app comes with 1000s of recipes. You can of course create your own recipes. As you add ingredients to your pan, you are shown how much more you should add. The app then monitors internal temperature and humidity and adjusts the cooking time and instructions accordingly. The pan is dishwasher safe. Its battery life is about a month. Its sensors (weight, humidity, temperature) can withstand extreme temperatures. You can use the SmartyPans to track what you cook, count calories, and learn how to cook better.
