Smart Carts: 3D Printed Electric Vehicles

In the past few months, we have covered plenty of cool autonomous electric vehicles. These Smart Carts being worked on by U-M researchers are quite interesting though. We are talking about a fleet of 3D printed autonomous cars users will be able to summon using a smartphone.

These low speed electric vehicles are more than capable of getting students and staff around the campus. These 3D printed autonomous cars remain a work in progress at this time, but they will become a lot smarter in the future.
