Gordon Bradt was one of my favorite artists. He was behind a bunch of unique kinetic sculptures from a few decades ago, including various sports figures. His kinetic sculpture clocks are still very much in demand among clock collectors. They have tiny men that move to create the illusion of moving the gears and running these clocks. These were available in various models, including 3, 5 and 6, and 7-Man clock.
These clocks were highly polished and coated with clear lacquer. They were handcrafted in brazed and molten brass. I have not managed to buy the Seven Man clock but I did find the Three Man and 6 Man Clock on eBay. They work similarly but have a different number of tiny men working the gears. The noise level is not high, so they won’t keep you awake. The Six Man Clock stands 9 inches tall. These clocks use a 4rpm synchronous motor.
