What’s better than a regular planter? One that can regulate water and filter it. The Self-Watering Planter by designer Joey Roth is inspired by Olla. It is an ancient irrigation tool that farmers still use to conserve water in arid climates. In this design, soil and plants are in the outer donut-shaped chamber while the center chamber contains water. The water moves from the center chamber into the soil when your plants are thirsty. This exciting planter is available for $50 at this point.
