Levitating UFO speakers have been around for quite a while. They not only play your music but have an electromagnetic base that floats a flying saucer over it. Most of them require you to manually levitate the speaker by slowly lowering it over the base. This self-levitating UFO speaker takes a different approach: you simply have to put the speaker on it and press a button to achieve automatic levitation.
We recently had a chance to test one of these speakers. The base is simply an automatic levitator. It has two buttons: one for levitation and the other to turn the speaker on/off when it is floating. The speaker can be removed and used without the base. It has Bluetooth, so you can use it with iOS and Android devices. We wish the base had a few lights for nighttime use. It would also be nice to have color changing lights on the flying saucer. The neat part is unlike the below speakers, you don’t need to float this manually.
