Robot Era STAR1 Humanoid Robot Can Cook Dumplings, Use Chopsticks

In the past few years, we have covered plenty of robots that can flip burgers, cook sausages, and even prepare entire meals. Robot Era’s STAR1 is a smart humanoid robot with 12-degrees of freedom hands and tactile sensing that has learned how to use chopsticks and cook dumplings. It stands 5’7″ tall, weighing 139lbs.

This ERA-42 robot has max load capacity of 44lbs. As the above video shows, this robot can use chopsticks, cook dumplings, steam buns, and pour wine. As the company explains, this robot is capable of performing over 100 intricate tasks with various tools.
