It is a device linked to an online service that allows you to locate photos of you that have been posted online, so you can delete them.
The badge has two modes: active and inactive. When switched to active mode, the device will interfere with the camera as photos of you are being taken. In “inactive mode,” the badge will code your photos by overriding the camera, so you can track where they have been uploaded.
