It is no secret that you can try all kinds of fun Raspberry Pi projects. In many cases, you are going to end up attaching a display and battery to your Raspberry Pi computer to take your creations to the next level. The good folks at Adafruit have put together a guide that shows you how to build a portable Raspberry Pi with a 5″ display.
How to make a 5" Portable Raspberry Pi 2
You are going to need the Adafruit DPI Display Kippah to drive a 5″ TFT display without an HDMI encoder. The PowerBoost 1000C will provide power to your Raspberry Pi. Optionally, you can add a speaker and amplifier to your mini computer. The enclosure is 3D printed. More information about this project can be found here.
