Tesla’s Optimus is going to get a whole lot better. It was only a few weeks ago that we got a glimpse of what it is capable of at the “We, Robot” event. A standalone prototype of its new hand was unveiled at the event. As Elon explains, it will have actuators in its forearm just like humans. They will operate the fingers through “tendons.”

The below video shows the 22DOF Gen3 Optimus Arm in action. As you can see, it is capable of grabbing objects thrown at it quite effectively.
