Mobile Virtual Player: Self-righting Robot Dummy for Football

Improving your football skills requires the right kind of training and lots of effort. In the future, more teams will rely on robots to train their players. The Mobile Virtual Player is a motorized, self-righting training dummy that helps improve each player’s performance while reducing injuries during training.

The MVP is remote controlled but an autonomous robotic dummies are also in the works. The robot, which was recently introduced during Steelers workouts, never gets tired and runs at the proper speed. The above video shows it in action.
