When you push the button, your coffee will be brewed to 140 Fahrenheit degrees. If you push the button twice, the temperature rises to 155F. For a cold drip coffee, push the button 3 times. So how does this thing heat your water? It has a detachable, rechargeable battery at the bottom and a heating plate in the center of the mug. You can even use this mug for tea.
