Developing rovers for Moon and Mars missions poses interesting challenges to engineers and scientists. Multiple companies are working on these ideas though. NASA has recently displayed a cool Mars Rover concept vehcile at the Kennedy Space Center. It has electric motors powered by a battery and solar panels.
