Yukinobu Kitamura’s Light Bulb Kaleidoscopes

Here is another gorgeous kaleidoscope that creates trippy patterns as you move it around. Yukinobu Kitamura’s Light Bulb Kaleidoscopes have a 3-mirror system with built-in LED light. Their object chamber is filled with pieces of glass and dichroic film. These light bulb kaleidoscopes were made in various colors but we managed to get our hands on two. They both work very similarly. You can try them in any lighting condition.

These are extremely rare these days but you may be able to find them on eBay and other auction sites.
