LG CLOi SuitBot: Wearable Robot for Workers Assists with Lifting Heavy Loads

Meet the updated LG CLOi SuitBot: a wearable robot for workers that assists with lifting and lowering heavy loads to reduce fatigue and risk of injury. The device increases the user’s flexibility by enabling 50-degree extension and 90-degree flexion of the waist. It activates when the wearers bend at a 65-degree angle and disengages when they go back to standing position.

The robot runs for 4 hours on a single charge. It supports the wearers’ waist and augments their muscle power to reduce risk of injury.
