KAERI Robot Lab’s Hoverboard / Personal Mobility Device

In the past few years, we have covered plenty of attempts at making a functional hoverboard. KAERI Robot Lab’s Hoverboard is also worth a look. It is a personal off-the-ground mobility device that can move a human. It can also be used for last mile delivery.

According to the researchers, the goal of this project was to develop a non-contact transportation system that uses two air cushion flotation devices resembling a bi-copter drone system to ensure a smooth ride.
