The new iPhones are more powerful than ever. They don’t have unlimited battery life, so investing in a power bank for them makes sense. The iWALK LinkPod 4800mAh USB-C Power Bank can charge your iPhone 15, iPad, Android smartphones, and any other device. The good folks behind it were kind enough to send us one to review. Let’s see what was included:

This compact power bank comes in a tiny package. It ships with a USB-C to USB-C charging cable, battery, and manual, which we didn’t have to even use. The device has a button on the side that turns on its display. It is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand or pocket. When you plug in your device, it starts charging automatically. You can click the side button twice to turn it off.

We tested this power bank with our iPad, Sony smartphone, Joby microphones, and TOZO earphones. It had no problem charging any of those. The device is plug & play and doesn’t require a special app or cable to work. It is capable of charging newer devices fast but even charged an old Sony Android phone to 100% in a couple of hours. This gadget features pass-through charging. It charges your phone first before recharging the power bank.

The LinkPod power bank has an LED display that shows the % of battery you have left. With an 18W charger, you can get it fully charged in about 1.5 hours. We used a standard Apple USB charger, and it took about 95 minutes to fully charge our power bank to 100%. These types of power banks can get a bit warm during the charging process, but we didn’t notice anything alarming.

The LinkPod has a convenient cap that covers and protects its USB-C head. In order to prolong the life of these batteries, you should charge them once every 3 months. We received the white version, which is elegant but there are other colorful options available.

Overall, we had the chance to test this power bank for a few days with a variety of devices, including Android phones, tablets, earbuds charging cases, and even a Linxura small home controller. We had no problem getting any of those devices charged. In order to enjoy its fast charging capability, you are going to need a compatible device. The company seems to be selling a 4-in-1 charging station for these power banks but we didn’t get a chance to test it. If you are looking for a compact battery extender that charges all your USB-C devices, you should give the iWalk power bank a look.
