We have heard about hoverboards a lot over the past few months. It is going to take a bit of time for companies working on these types of projects to bring their product to the market. But it is always encouraging to see the progress being made in this area. The Hendo Hoverboard, the prototype version, can get 1 inch off the ground. As the developers suggest, getting on the hoverboard makes you feel like bouncing on air
The underlying technology is apparently scalable. These hoverboards rely on four disc-shaped hover engines that create a magnetic field to generate the lift required for levitation. We have to try these types of products before making a judgment, but I would love to get my hands on a working hoverboard soon.
