Gecko-Inspired Pads Let You Climb Walls

So you would love to be able to climb walls like a superhero? Stanford engineers have come up with a gecko-inspired climbing device that adheres strongly to any surface and lets users climb walls. It is capable of supporting an average person’s weight. Each pad is covered with 24 adhesive tiles, covered with sawtooth-shape polymer structures.
