Leaving your computer unlocked is never a good idea, especially if you have sensitive data on it. That’s where GateKeeper comes into play. It locks your PC automatically when you leave and unlocks it when you return. You don’t have to type your password every time you return to your PC.
The GateKeeper Chain is a key fob with a proximity sensor for your PC to make accessing it easier. The GK-Chain tracks the location of the key using a proprietary signal strength algorithm and unlocks your computer based on where you are. It uses encryption for security. The GateKeeper will be compatible with Android but iOS and Windows phones will be supported in the future.
This awesome product is on Kickstarter right now. We covered something similar to this for Mac computers a few weeks back, so it’s nice to see that Windows users will have access to this method of PC access.
