Driving at night on unlit roads is not without danger. All drivers would want to be able to see animals and people on the road. Ford’s new lighting technologies are designed to help drivers see better at night. While traditional headlights let you see what’s ahead of you, Ford’s advanced lighting technology uses infrared cameras to detect people and large animals on unlit roads.

It highlights hazards for the driver with a spot and a stripe on the road surface. The screen inside frames the object in yellow or red according to the risk level to keep the driver alert.
