FlexVR Robotic Surgery Simulator

You can’t expect to become a great surgeon without years of training. We have already covered how robots are being used to perform minimally invasive surgeries with precision. FlexVR is a portable robotic surgery simulator from Mimic Technologies that helps aspiring surgeons learn camera control, instrument manipulation, suturing, and other features of surgical robots.

The system captures data and lets users know how well they are doing. It uses the MSim psychomotor skills software found on dV-Trainer & da Vinci Skills Simulator to prepare robotic surgeons for real-life scenarios.
