There are plenty of cool prosthetic limbs available on the market. Not all of them are designed to withstand exposure to the water. The Fin is different. It is a custom-fitted 3D printed prosthetic leg that allows an amputee to go from land into the water and back with no interruption. As Northwell Health explains, this technology has enabled Dan Lasko, a 33-year-old Afghanistan war veteran from PA, to enter the pool and swim with his kids.
