Here is another electromagnetic toy that can accelerate one or multiple balls. This ball accelerator is available in various sizes with 2, 4 or more coils. You will simply have to turn it on, put a ball on its track and give it a nudge. We recently had a chance to test a 2-coil version.

This toy is pretty easy to use. You just have to carefully unpack it, turn it on and put one of the steel balls on it. Technically, it is possible to use multiple balls but you just have to set them on the track without them touching. As you can see in the above video, this toy is entertaining for cats too.
