E-paper wearables are nothing new. The Pebble watch is certainly a pretty interesting smartwatch. The e-bow Tie is another wearable device that relies on e-paper technology to change how it looks. The below video by FES shows the e-bow tie in action:

As you can see in the above video, the e-bow Tie can be attached to a shirt, purse, or even sit on a shoe to allow the wearer to express him/herself. Will we ever get a bow-tie with activity tracking and haptic feedback? We have seen crazier projects on Kickstarter, so we can’t rule that out.
