Meet the Dorothy: a wearable device that connects your shoes to your phone. You just have to slip the “Ruby” into your shoe to start executing foot-based commands. The companion mobile app can trigger a call to your phone when you tap your heels together 3 times. You can also send text messages to your contacts with your location. You can summon a cab, order a pizza, and do all kinds of neat things with your Dorothy.

Dorothy is powered by the LightBlue Bean, which happens to be an Arduino micro-controller with a built-in Bluetooth chip, accelerometer, and a coin cell battery. We are not sure smart shoes will become a thing in the future, but the idea here quite a lot of fun.
