Don’t Touch Useless Box Tested

Useless boxes are funny toys that use a simple servo mechanism to turn a switch off automatically. They are easy to build but you can also buy them in various designs. The Don’t Touch box uses a tiny cat to turn off the switch with its tail. You can get it with a rechargeable or AA batteries.

This funny toy has multiple actions pre-programmed. Every time you flip a switch, it uses a different approach to close it. Sometimes it pretends to get its tail stuck while other times it simply closes the door and opens it just when you think it is turned off. We recently had a chance to test two of these, one of which came with a Bluetooth speaker. That model can play your favorite podcast while keeping your pets entertained.
