We all have to deal with inflammation and stiffness in our body as we get older. That is especially the case for those who push their body hard every day. We have already covered plenty of massagers and foam rollers that can be used treat your tight muscles. The DNA Vibe Jazz Band Live is also worth a look. It is a flexible, wearable light therapy device with 4 modes that reduces inflammation and pain. The good folks behind it were kind enough to send us one to review. Ours came with a flexible light therapy module, magnetic charger, and 2 bands. It was already in a wearable pouch.
This light therapy device is pretty easy to use. The bands are simple to attach and remove. You can use the longer band on your shoulder or back while the shorter one is useful for your elbows, ankles, and neck. You can rest your hand and feet on your Jazz Band Live without the bands but make sure not to fold the light module or put your entire weight on it.
The Jazz Band Live has red, infrared, magnetic, and micro-vibration modes. It has a simple one-button mechanism to change modes. You do have the option to use this with a car adapter or cordless power pack (those are sold separately). We tested it outdoors with a solar charger from Renogy and had no issues.
According to the company, this gadget uses the following wavelengths:
- Red light: 650-675 nm
- Near-infrared: 825-850 nm
- Magnetic: 45-55 MicroTesla
- Micro-vibration: 225 Hz
During our tests, the Jazz Band Live got a bit of warm but it wasn’t uncomfortable at all.
Overall, we found the Jazz Band Live to be very easy to use. Its 10ft cord is long enough for most cases. The setup process is straightforward. The folks behind it have YouTube videos that show you how to put it on but we didn’t even need those. You can use this wearable light therapy solution at home, in the gym, or under your clothes at work to recover faster and reduce stiffness in your body.
