There are plenty of gorgeous dice sets available these days. We have even seen a couple that work with smartphones (e.g. GoDice or Boogie Dice). The Demley Auto Dice is one of the most gorgeous dice games we have seen. It is a 1920’s mechanical pocket dice that lets you play all kinds of games. It has two wheels in an art deco metal case. You simply have to push the button to spin the wheels. When you stop, you get a random pair of numbers.
The Demley Auto Dice was made in two designs, as far as we can tell. The plain version is even a bit rarer than the art deco one. These mechanical dice games can be found on various auction sites, including eBay. The design has inspired a few makers to come up with modern versions of this but the Demley Dice remains must-have for dice collectors.
