In case you missed it, Tesla had a very exciting event last night. Elon Musk not only presented a gorgeous robotaxi but also covered the progress the Optimus robot has made. The RoboTaxi is fully autonomous vehicle with no steering wheel or pedals. You will be able to use it to get around without breaking a sweat. 20 Cybercabs were available for testing at the event.
As Elon explained, these types of vehicles can be used a lot more than 10 hours a week on average, which applies to our cars today on average. They are expected to cost around $30k with an operating cost of about 30/40 cents per mile. Tesla is also working on a robovan that can carry up to 20 people or goods autonomously.

Last but not the least, Tesla’s humanoid robot, Optimus, was quite a hit at the event. It uses the same technologies developed for Tesla’s cars. This robot can serve drinks, walk dogs, and a lot more. In fact, it was seen serving drinks while wearing a cowboy hat at the vent.
