Android Wear is a pretty exciting platform for wearables. There are already a few decent watches that run the OS. We have already shown you how you can control a Tesla car with your Android Wear smartwatch. But you can do a whole lot more with it. The below video posted by Takashi Kanamaru shows how an LG G Watch running Android Wear can be used to control on omni-wheel robot with three wheels. The watch pairs with a phone using MessageAPI and sends commands to it. The phone then forwards them to the Socket.IO on the Raspberry Pi.
