In the past couple of years, we have covered a bunch of awesome multitouch tables and interactive walls from Ideum. The Colossus is quite special though. It is a 84″ 4K UHD multitouch table with a bezel-less glass top and support for up to 100 touch points. This premium smart table could be used to offer highly interactive, multi-user experiences.
The Colossus features an Intel i7 computer and vandal-resistant chassis and frame. It lets up to 8 people interact with it at the same time. It offers WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity.
Ideum recently used this product to create the Cusco Experience with scholars from the National Museum of the American Indian. It is a 3D model of the Inka capital city as it appeared in 1531 CE. Visitors can take virtual tours and view high quality narrated videos on the table. More information can be found here.
