Remember the RobotGeek ‘Chip-E’? It is an open source, 3D printed Arduino robot with infrared remote control. As it turns out, you can combine a Google Home, IFTTT, and a WiFi enabled microcontroller to add voice control to it. For this project, you will need a SparkFun ESP8266 Thing Dev Board, cables, couplers, and a few other simple parts.
