The Chessnut Go is one of our favorite smart chess boards. It has an ultra-portable design and lets you play on Lichess and Chess.com through its app. What’s neat about these boarsd if the fact you can use them with ChessBase, Arena, WhitePawn and other popular chess applications and programs. It is also possible to pair it with the DGT Pi Raspberry Pi chess computer.

Once you upgrade DGT Pi’s Picochess software, you will be able to select Chessnut boards through its menu and connect the board. You will be able to use Stockfish NNUE, Stockfish 16 and other powerful engines. The board works normally when connected. It will show the moves with lights. We didn’t notice any lags.
