Canon RF-S3.9mm F3.5 STM Dual Fisheye APS-C Lens for VR

There are plenty of fancy cameras and lenses for regular videos and photos. For VR and 3D content, you are going to need special lenses. The Canon RF-S3.9mm F3.5 STM Dual Fisheye Lens is ideal for VR content production. It works with APS-C sensor cameras. It has an interpupillary distance of 60mm and 144-degree field of view for 180-degree content.

This lens is ready for autofocus with a gear-type stepping motor that controls both lenses but that feature only works in still photo mode. You can use it to pre-focus before shooting video, though. This lens has a 30.5mm filter thread. It currently works with the EOS R7 but you need to update your firmware. The content you capture with this can be viewed on Oculus Quest 2 and other VR headsets.
