We have seen plenty of advanced cameras on the market these days. But not too many of them can actually see around corners. The scientists at MIT have developed one that does. It sends light pulses to blind spots in order to work out the position of objects even if they can’t be seen directly. This does work like a sonar. We won’t be seeing cameras of this type in stores soon. But it is exciting to know how far the technology has reached.
